EMILIE ROCHE focuses on the ancient crafts of beading and crochet to create intricate, statement jewelry which effuse a sense of time and skill, evoking the history of the women who have utilised these talents over hundreds of years. Designed in her Paris atelier, each bead is carefully sourced from glass bead makers in Bohemia and Turkey and then skilfully crafted by female artisans in Morocco. Working ethically with traditional makers, Emilie's designs are created in harmony with the craftswomen who make them and their local surroundings, imbuing each piece with strong sense of female camaraderie.
